In Reply to: Zebulon HOLLINGSWORTH's in Georgia. by Jim Hollingsworth of 7425

Hi Jim, I am a descendant of Valentine Hollingsworth & Ann Ree, Henry Hollingsworth and Lydia Atkinson, Stephen Hollingsworth and Ann Robinson.
Stephen and Ann Robinson had the following children:

1-Lydia Hollingsworth mar.John Ross & William Jolliffe,Jr.

2-Henry Hollingsworth and Mary Murray (that's my line)

3-James Hollingsworth and Elizabeth Thomas

4-Zebulon Hollingsworth and don't have a name for his wife.
went to Georgia along with his brothers Timothy & Valentine.

Zebulon moved to Georgia about 1770, Prather Creek, now in Burke co.
I show he had six children when he came to Georgia.
Stephen of Burke, later Tattnal co.Ga
Zebulon and John of Bullock co.GA
Jacob of Tattnal co. Ga.
William of Burke co. GA
Jesse Hollingsworth

5-Valentine Hollingsworth and Vera ?? and Elizabeth Dickson Lanier

6-Timothy Hollingsworth and Susannah ?
Timothy later moved to St. John's River, Florida.

So from what you have in your query, I would say that Zebulon, Sr. is the son of Stephen Hollingsworth and Ann Robinson and Zebulon Jr. would have been his son.

I have a booklet on the Hollingsworth of Screven co. and I will check and see if there is any other reference that might be of help to you.
Please contact me as we may be able to share other Hollingsworth information.

Those are the only 2 Zebulons that I have in Georgia.

Jackie Purdy, Shingle Springs, Ca
