I am impressed with the goodwill of the HOLLINGSWORTH Genealogists in this forum.
Everybody wants to help. All involved need a hardy THANK YOU!
However after having said that and having read most or all the postings
here & other forums about Zebulon HOLLINGSWORTH, I cannot sort out the Zebulons HOLLINGSWORTH in Georgia from
1850 Back. How many Zebulons HOLLINGSWORTHs are there?
Can/will someone help me find a thread to follow?
I have been tested(DNA) in the Hollingsworth project and established that
I am descended from the Irish Valentine Hollingsworth who landed in Delaware.
In the 1850 Fed. census, Coffee Co. Alabama--
Zebulon HOLLANDSWORTH & wife Phoebe(SAPP) are listed With a son Seaburn.
Seaborn was born in Tattnall County, Ga.
I Know from Family knowledge and other sources that this is my line.
Zebulon HOLLINGSWORTH married Phoebe SAPP in Tattnall County, Ga. 19 Nov. 1817.
In the 1840 Tattnall Co. census Zebulon HOLLINGSWORTH is listed as aged 40 to 50 years old.
In his household are 4 children and a female aged 40 to 50 years old. (Phoebe, no doubt)
In 1820 Tattnall Co. census, two Zebulons are listed: Zebulon HOLLINGSWORTH Sr.
and Zebulon HOLLINGSWORTH Jr. They Lived near each other.
Anyone know who Zebulon Sr's Parents are and where the were located?
How Many Zebulons are we working with here in Georgia?
