This may be collateral lineage for your family. I was just looking for information on the Johnson Co IL Pickens family. I ran across a marriage for Leander Hollingshead b. 1847 who married Hannah P. Pickens about 1867 probably in Johnson Co IL. Hannah was the daughter of John Patterson Pickens, Sr. of Johnson Co IL. Anyway, she and Leander settled in Fayette County, IL.
If you run across this family I would love to know.
Johnson is right next door to Union County, IL.
