Your Grandmother is right however, you'll be surprised to hear, that it is infact through Elizabeth Holliday Coe's, ( James Coes) mother, Lydia Webb Holliday wife of Thomas Holliday, inwhich we are connected. Lydia Webb Holliday decends off of the Walter Halliday b 1215 Tree. The Holliday name daugthered out five or so generations back from Lydia through the Danial Boone Tree and then to the Webb Tree. You following this? LOL's All true though!
I have these trees if you are interested in them.
As for Thomas Holliday he was born in 1835 to William and Diannah Hudson Holliday of Scriba, NY. They are buried in Scriba North Union Cem. in the left hand section with their son John Holliday. We cannot however, confirm William's parents.
