Hi Jim,
I would be very interested to make contact with you.
My husbnads Halliday or Holliday's seem to be going back and forth between Kirkpatrick Fleming/ Brydekirk area of Scotland and then down into Cumberland, Arthuret, Longtown, Sandysike area.
We also have quite a few John Holliday or Halliday's in our line.
We are stuck at 1750-1760 on a James Ho/alliday who married a Mary Johnstone ( or at least we think they were married). We have two sons born to them. Richard Ch 1782 in Graitney/Gretna and then lived in Kirkpatrick Fleming Scotland and George Ch 1789 in Kirkpatrick Fleming. We have no further info on George but lots on Richard.
Richard has a niece ( thikn thats correct without going back to records) who married in Carlisle and lived in the Cumberland area. Have quite a bit on her line too.
please make contact.. via here or annelouise.halliday@bigpond.com
regards
