Hi Joanne!

I have also been researching this family and have acquired quite a bit of information. Before Elizabeth married Ludowic, he had a first wife. Her maiden name was Alice Hole. She was the sister of my great, great, great grandfather, Richard Hole. They were the children of Mark and Mary Hole who immigrated from Saltwood, Kent, England in 1840 on the ship named President.

Please contact me and let's share information. The family of Mark and Mary Hole were early Pioneers in the state of Minnesota. They were also heavily impacted by the Civil War.
