Friedrich Wilhelm was the ninth child of Gerhard Friedrich Holle and Marie Margarethe Engel Sander, who were married on 22 November 1830 in Dielingen Parish. This line derives from farm number 3 in Arrenkamp, for which we have good records to the 1500s.

Bonnie's Holle line derives from farm number 2 in Arrenkamp, which was already in existence in the 1500s and was definitely unrelated to farm number 3, despite the same surname.

Moreover, Bonnie's great grandfather, born in 1844, descended from a "broken" branch of the 2 Arrenkamp line: his grandfather was Gerd Friderich Karpendiek, who married Catharine Margarethe Ilsabe Geldmeier, widow Holle, in 1814, after her first husband's death. In accordance with the distinctive customs of this area, Karpendiek (who became holder of the Holle farm at the time of the marriage) adopted the Holle surname. While his descendents were therefore surnamed Holle, they were not actually descendants of the original line.

Having devoted some time to the lineages of Arrenkamp, I can suggest that you and Bonnie are probably connected in some way, since most of the families intermarried. But the connection is not through the Holle surname.
