William A. (Armenus) was my great grandfather. He had three children by Louisa Zweigart. William Charles (my grandfather), Louise, and Clarence L. Louisa died less than a month after Clarence was born. He married Emma Henrietta Leudtke later. I remember references to Adolf and Harold from my grandfather and am looking for information on them as well as any other step siblings (Robert and Arnold?).
I can provide some information. I have William A as born in Milwaukee, WI on 5 Aug 1855. He was the first son of Edward J and Marie Aker. He passed on 29 Aug 1929 in Clinton, IA and is buried in Springdale Cemetary there. He had been a barber all of his life. He was married to Louisa Zweigart in 1886. She was born in Stuttgart, GE (actually I think in a small town to the south of there) on 13 June 1862 and died in Clinton, IA on 5 Mar 1895.
William C., their first child was born on 1 Feb 1891 in Clinton and died 18 Feb 1970 in Peoria, IL. He is buried in Clinton Lawn (Memorial) Cemetary in Clinton. He had been an electrician all of his life. He had married Freda Rasmussen on 7 Sep 1915.
