Wow! What a small world. Not everyone knows the Bremen/Herkimer area in Kansas! May I ask the name of your neighbor?
My grandmother is George's first born daughter. Her married name is Sohl. We still have relatives who live in that area and I believe my dad's cousin still farms the home place. Would your neighbor happen to be Tom Holle? Perhaps Margaret Roever? Tom is my dad's cousin and Margaret is his sister.
I would love any info that you can relay. I haven't been able to find out as much as I would like...time doesn't always allow and memories aren't always as good as they can be!
