I have a couple things on Hollingsworth. While working on my Cooper line in MD I ran across William Hollingsworth the trader was from Salem,Mass.

I sent to MD for the following records.

JOHN HOLLENSWORTH
wife MARY GOLDEN of Calvert Co.

Wills Liber 1 folio 223 probated March 6 1664
Early Settlers Liber 9 folio 240 and 248

I thought I was ordering a will and other record for JOHN HOLLENSWORTH of Calvert Co. MD. What I got was a will for GABRIEL GOULDING AKA GABRIEL GOULDON. His wife is MARY. He left his 250 acres of land to her. She was pregnant and he wanted the child to bear his name.
will date 15 Feb 1664. Liber 9 folio 223.

Liber 9 folio 240. 18 Feb 1665 John states he is now the husband of the relict of GABRIEL GOLDEN who was MARY and now married to JOHN HOLLENSWORTH. John is selling 150 acres of land. The land being in GABRIEL GOLDENS name. The page 240 did not mention JOHN HOLLENSWORTH so they didn't send that page.

What family does this John Hollensworth belong to? It appears he isn't part of John or Charles in Queen Anne's County.
Bernice
