The William Hollingsworth of the 1850 Morgan County, IN, US Census was the son of John Hollingsworth, son of Vincent of Ashe County, NC. His father John moved with family members to Clay County, KY, then moved to Morgan County, IN where he died.
This William shared administrative duties concerning his father John's estate with his Uncle William who, not long after, moved on to Gasconade County, MO. William, son of John, was on the 1860 census of Bates County, MO in 1860. In that census he had a son named William who was 8 years of age.

Son Presley, mentioned by Doug, died in 1863 in Leavenworth County, KS.

I am not suggesting that there is no connection of William Riley Hollingsworth to this line. I just wanted to point out these items.
