After some years off, I recently resumed work on Thomas Hollingsworth/Hollandsworth. I'd failed to connect him with the line of Valentine Hollingsworth and decided to research some of my other lines. I vaguely recall two records other than the patent records. I think one was a small piece of land on Blackberry Creek and it was in a book which had sketches of the lands in question. It may have been reassigned to Thomas and was originally in the name of John Hill or John Reed. A possible author was ?Ciarrimataro? (not the correct spelling). The second record was in an order book on Patrick or Henry County. If I remember correctly, it was a transfer of land from Abraham May(s)/Mayse (likely son of the elder Henry Mays, wife Pheby). If I can find my older Hollingsworth research, I'll contact you with the exact information. As I stated, it's a vague recollection.
