I am trying to prove the following Hendrik Glauberg is my Great Grandfather. Is there anyway to check immigration records from Amsterdam. I am also interested in knowing if he traveled with a son: George or what the relationship was between the men, aprox 25 to 30 years apart in age. the records in Texas show the following: Glanburg Henry, Christendam, 54 years , Philadelphia,PA Jan 1873, 24 Dec 1877 Holland Glanburg, Henry, Holland, 54 Dec 24, 1877 Dec. of Int. I know the above listed is my Great grandfather, as i have seen the name mispelled this way due to hand writing errors, and early marriage records of Austin county Texas. I know his name is actually Henry Glauberg/glauburg. If the age is correct for him to be 54 when he left amsterdam, then he should have been born around 1823. The following is the only one I can find that would even match. Can anyone help me with the finding of the immagration from Holland to America? Any help or thoughts are appreciated. Name: Hendrik Glauburg Gender: Male Christening date: Christening place: Residence: Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands Birthdate: 27 Sep 1823 Birthplace: Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands Death date: Name note: Race or color (expanded): Father's name: Lodewijk Glauburg Mother's name: Grieke De Vos Batch number: C90052-5 Date range: Film number: 113528 Notify Administrator about this message?
