THANK YOU so much for your response...I'll try to answer the questions you asked to the best of my ability.
Grandma was born 19 June 1899 in Andernach, Germany. I'm not sure about her brothers, but believe they, too, were born in Andernach. I'll try to call my aunt later or tomorrow to see if she can shed some light on the questions. Yes, Grandma's passport application stated that her father died in Andernach in 1902. In reference to her half sister, her mother had been married before Gerrit and had a daughter. Sibilla apparently married a Jacob Gunster? after Gerrit died. This information comes to me in bits and pieces from my aunt and uncle. I'm sure Sibilla is a first name (my aunt's middle name) and the last name I've been given is OWISS, but a gentleman told me that's not a surname. They said Grandma's nickname was Elschen (as found on her passport application).
Could you tell me, please, what website you found this information on?
