Hi, I'm new to the genealogy thing, and am here to post some of my Holliday history.
I'll start with me and my dad. I'm only listing males, 'cept me of course.

Daniel Holliday (Sr.) 1784-1855 of Lamar County, Alabama
Sergeant Daniel Holladay 1752-1837 of Kershaw, Co. S.C./& Alabama
Daniel and Agnes Holliday 1712- 1784 of Cardina Co. Virginia
John and Elizabeth Holliday 1676-1742 of Virginia
I have more to this list, all the way back to a Sir Walter Halliday, Master of Revels of Rodbourough.
Any info would be helpful, an holes that I can fill or cousins that want to know more about our branch of the Holliday's, I'd appreciate it.
Also, my grandmother doesn't seem to have much time left....I'd love to be able to tell her more about the Holliday's.

PS: I have a signed 1983 copy of the Holladay Family book by Alvis Milton Holladay. I would really like to get my hands on a copy of the updated version. If anyone is willing to even let me borrow one...I'd be very appreciative. I think there is info on my line of the Holliday's in the newer version that is not in the 1983 one.
