The 1850 census for Parke Co., IN shows a William Holman, age 50, born GA, with wife (second one, I'm guessing), named Mary, age 34, b. KY. There are several children in the household also:
       Mary              age 16 or 20       b. IN
       Hannah       19                     b. IN
       Agatha       12                     b. IN
       Isabella        4                     b. IN
       Marinda        3?                     b. IN
       Jacob GRAY        9                     b. IN
       Melvina "        11                     b. IN

A George Holman, age 27, b. TN is on the same page of the census. He has a wife Elizabeth, 27, TN and daughter, Mary, 1, IN. James BOYD, age 65, b. Ireland is also in the household.

There may also be Amanda and/or Agathy Holman in that county but I don't have any data for her/them.

There is another family of Holmans which passed through Parke Co. but I know of no relation. Merry Ann
