Looking for a Peter Holes b. about 1802.
Married to an Ann Macon?? by banns on 13 Oct 1834 at Buckland. Kent. Witnessed by Philip and Sarah Holes.
I have Ann as a McDunnock but can't find anything about her.
Peter and Ann saied to N.Z. on the Auroa from London
18 Sept 1839 and arrived Wellington N.Z. 22 Jan 1840.
They had my g.g grandmother called Anne who is reported to be the first white child born in N.Z. [perhaps Wellington].
Can anyone help? There must be Holes somewhere or did everyone drop the S. All I get when I go on to the net is 'dark holes','holes in the ozone' etc. Very frustrating.
