Hi Michael,
I've got the same name as you. I live in Sydney, by hail from Devon, England. Don't know of any of the of the 'Hole's you've mentioned in your message, but I did get a message from a guy called Cavan Haines who was trying to track down a Michael Hole who played in his band in the 60s in London. Could that be your Dad? If so, let me know. Otherwise, check out the Holes in Devon cause there are heaps of them - there are lots of Johns, Williams and Eli's.
