I am descended from John Holdsworth born circa 1799 in Bradford and Elizabeth Beecroft born circa 1801. John was a tailor based in Wellington Street Bradford.
They had the following children all born in Bradford
1. Hannah Holdsworth born ca 1822 married James Firth in 1842 and lived in the Idle district of Bradford. 6 children.
2. Joseph Beecroft Holdsworth born ca 1824 and I believe married Sarah Fearnley in 1843. This couple are not on census records for 1851. No children recorded.
3. Sarah Ann Holdsworth ca 1826
4. Samuel Holdsworth ca 1828
5. John Holdsworth ca 1832
6. Susannah Beecroft Holdsworth 1834 married Thomas Crowther in 1858. I believe she died in 1870.
7. David Edwin Holdsworth 10 Mar 1839 married Mary Croft - this couple had 13 children but I have never found a record of their marriage in Bradford, Leeds or anywhere else (Mary Croft is recorded as born in Leeds on census records). These are my 2nd great grandparents.

Has anyone ever come across a marriage record for David Edwin Holdsworth and Mary Croft?
Does anyone know what happened to Joseph Beecroft Holdsworth and Sarah Fearnley after their marriage.
Is anyone descended from David Edwin Holdsworth and Mary Croft. David and Mary moved to Bishop Auckland between 1871 and 1874. Several of their children settled and married there.
