researching John Holdsworth who with wife Elizabeth Burdekin immigrated to Australia mid 1830's with at least 2 sons Joseph Burdekin and William Holdsworth .William Holdsworth's death certificate says he was born in Yorkshire. They were very successful ironmongers in Sydney .Trying to find what area this particular Holdsworth line comes from.Knowing John Holdsworth was an ironmonger and his son Joseph Burdekin was also a very successful ironmonger can this help me to pinpoint where the family originated from.John Holdsworth's was born about 1800 and his mother and father supposedly were named John and Rebecca(from his death certificate)
