Susan (ALLEN) HOLDSWORTH of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was the daughter of whom? She was born 1837/1838 in Penn., and died possibly 1920-1930. She was in the 1920 Census in Narberth Borough, Lower Merion Twp., Montgomery County, PA, in the household of a granddaughter, Margaretta McCREA (daughter of Leonard HOLDSWORTH). She was not listed with them again in 1930. She was married to English immigrant Michael HOLDSWORTH, who worked as a "warper" in a woolen mill. The Holdsworths lived many years with a large number of children in Ward 22 (Germantown/Bristol) of Philadelphia. Susan ALLEN had at least one younger brother. He was named Henry "Harry" ALLEN, b 1843 in PA. He was a blacksmith by trade, and died in 1917 at Point Pleasant, Bucks County, Penn. Information will be gladly shared. Thank you.
