Dear Steve,

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my question regarding George William Holdsworth.

I do not know any more about my grandfather George or his father John Joseph Holdsworth, save that when George was born the address on his birth certificate was given as 224 Church lane, Scriven, Knaresborough,01/08/1889, stating that his father was a farmer, married to Elizabeth Powell.

At alater date they moved to Brackenthwaite Farm,
Panel Ash, Harrogate.

I do not have access to the 1881 cencus, if it is not too much trouble, I would be grateful if you could look it up for me, that is assuming that you have it to hand.

Kind regards

Marilyn Denman
