I went back to Gettysburg, Pa., today to the battle field where there are miles of memorial markers of stone to men who served as they believed to be right....I found the name of Asaph M. Holdridge, Private, Company "G" 44th N.Y. Infantry who faught on the oppisite side of that which John Henry Holdridge, Pvt. CSA did..yet they may have been blood kin, and had never met, or even new of each other.....I would like to know if anyone has this Asaph M. Holdridge in their files of genealogy.....Gerald Dee Salyer
