Mary Holdren Adams, VA, OH, MO 1820s-97
I seek information on a ggrandmother, Mary (possible middle initial A.) Holdren, born in Virginia in mid-1820s, moved with family to Ohio, possibly Ross County, as a child, married Sept. 12, 1844 in Ross County to William Adams. They lived on farms in nearby Fayette County, Ohio at time of the 1850 and 1860 censuses. He joined Company K, 90th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Regiment in 1862, served until the end of the Civil War. They then moved to Benton County, Missouri where he died during the 1880s. She died there or in a nearby county in October 1897. Not sure but think it possible her father's first name was either Enoch or Archibald, while William Adams's father may have had first name of Emanuel. Does this strike a chord with anyone?
