There are several variations in the spelling in the documents I have, (many hand-written), but there is no doubt that this is Ariana Lane's grave. Here is a link to a transcription and picture of Ariana Lane Holderby's grave stone in the Guyandotte Cemetery: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wvcccfhr/cemeteries/guyandotte/guyandotte.htm Mrs. ARLANA HOLDERBY Consort of JAMES HOLDERBY sq. Born. March Died. April March 12, 1792 24, 1826 Now know I that the Lord saved his annoited: he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. Fear not the sentence of death re- member him that have been be- fore thee, and that come after for this is the sentence of the Lord over ill flesh. Notify Administrator about this message?
