HOLDEN of Co. Wexford Ireland and Quebec, Canada
I am searching for James HOLDEN b. 1790 in Co. Wexford, Ireland, and his wife, Antoin MURPHY, b. 1790.They emigrated to quebec with their son, Daniel HOLDEN, b. 1810, d. 1895.Daniel was married to Mary FITZPATRICK of Ireland. I also have quite a bit of "generic" Holden info. regarding the origin of the name etc... if anyone is interested.I focus mostly on the Irish origin, but most likely, the name was of English or Norman ancestry and found it's way to Ireland in one the many invasions.
