Thank you for your quick response. My great aunt who died several years ago claimed to have seen his grave years ago but could never find it when we looked for it. I am homeschooling my children and we are studying the revolutionary war. I thought this would be a great trip to visit his grave. My third son's middle name is Holcombe in honor of Sherwood.
Sherwood's son, Jesse, is the line of my family.
