It has been a difficult thing to trace my Holcomb side of the family. I can only go back as far as Henry R. Can not seem to find birth dates or any family further back. I do know he married Mary Etta Whitney in 1882. My gramfather his son was born in 1888. I am assuming he must have been born in the 1860's. Possibly in Georgia or Texas. There was some family trouble that caused him to be close mouthed about his family. No one in the family knows much more then I have found out. If you know anything pretaining to H.R and M.E. I would appreciate hearing from you.
