The death record of Annie's first cousin, Theresa Jane Holbert Oatman (d. 24 Dec 1925, Dunklin Co., MO) states that her father, John Holbert, was born in Nashville, TN.
Elizabeth Holbert Thompson was born 12 Sep 1828.
John Holbert was born about 1814.
They were the daughter and son of Joel Holbert/Halbert and Zylphia Wright who were living in Posey County at the time of the 1850 census.
I am seeking information to prove or disprove the hypothesis that Joel and Zylphia were in Davidson County, TN during the period of 1814-1828.
