PLUMB BRANCH--------Joseph Elton Holbert, 84, of 4 Fishing Village Road, a widower of June Martha Hyder Holbert, died Tuestay, May 25 2004 at McCormick Health Care Center.
Born in Hendersonville, NC., he was the son of the late Seymore and Lillie Edney Holbert. He was a Navy and Coast Guard veteran and retired from Greyhound Bus Lines after 38 years. He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include three daughters: Gale Holbert of the home, Susan Ray of Plum Branch and Becky Alviso of Napa Vally, Calif., and five grandchildern.
He was the last member of his immediate family
