My grandfather was Lorenz J.Hohl,buried St.Louis Calvary Cemetery,11/2/1912, age 66. He had four brothers:G.M.(Mike) of St.Joseph, Mo.,later to Oklahoma, August F. Hohl Denver,Col.,Justus H.Hohl(Judd),East St.Louis, Ill. and Leonard Hohl of Lincoln, Nebraska. I have a picture of four of the brothers in Lincoln, at home of Leonard,610 So.16th St. when they were: Mike 70 yrs.,Judd 66 yrs.,August(Dell) 62 yrs., & Leonard 64 yrs., according to the article. Lorenz was not present, nor do I have any information on an Elizabeth Hohl, as you requested, though there is an Ellen Hohl, age 39 buried 1885,possibly 1st wife of Lorenz,with infant Leonard,died 1876.Also, there is Michael F.Hohl, age 25 yrs,buried 1895,probably son of Lorenz. He remarried my grandmother, Margaret Linzner, of Troy,Ill.,had two sons in St.Louis, Clarence and Lester, my father,1900-1995.
