I am working on the family of Andreas Hohl (b: 25 Jun 1809 in Germany, d: 28 Dec 1870 in Albany). He married Anna Catherine ____ (b: 4 May 1806 in Germany, d: 18 Jun 1869 in Albany). Andreas frequently used the name Andrew Hall. Family tradition says he came from Hamburg, but I don't know if this means he was born there or sailed from there.
Andreas and Anna Catherine had the following children: Elizabeth (b: 23 Feb 1841 in Albany, m: Charles Keeler/Karl Koehler), Catharina (b: 18 Jun 1843 in Albany, m: William Young/Wilhelm Jung), Johannes/John F.(b: 28 Sep 1845 in Albany, m: Catharine Ann Schoonmaker), and Georg Heinrich (b: ca 1852, m: Catharina Ruppert)
