The parents of Marcus (Mark) Hardin born. October 20, 1681 in Staten Island, New York and died 1735 in Prince William, Virginia, were Martin Pierre Hardewyn born c. 1645/50 in Roen, France, and died 1706 in Prince William,Virginia, and his wife, Madeline Du Sauchoy born January 20, 1658 poss Roen, France . She was the daughter of Marcus Du Sauchoy and Elizabeth RosilJel(Rossignol). Martin was a Huguenot. They were members of the Dutch Reformed Church of Staten Island New York. My line is Martin Hardewyn, Marcus(Mark), Henry, and Sarah who married James S. Loyless. There are a lot of postings on the Hardin site reguarding this family.
