Connie, thank you for replying to my post. My cousin and I both believe we are related to the Andrew Jackson Hogue line also. I did know about his son named Shannon. My cousin thinks Andrew, William Owen, and John were brothers and that their parents were John Hogue and Nancy Wall who appear in the 1850 Liberty, Casey Co., Kentucky census. There is a big gap between children there where there is room for these 3 to appear. I, however, don't think this is their parents. I can't find any names of Shannon or Owen anywhere in the John Hogue and Nancy Wall lines. It is a mystery. I am still convinced the name Shannon is important here but haven't found anything yet. If you look on the Shannon and Owen boards for posts from Maggie Robinson, there is some interesting information regarding Shannons and Owens. I sent her a message a long time ago but have never received a reply. Who knows, we may be cousins. If I find anything regarding our Hogues, I will let you know. I'm so glad to responded.
