Thank you so much for your reply.I don't know whether it will help or not, but at least we have something else to think about.According to our family tradion, my ggggrandfather and ggggrandmother were full blooded Cherokee, his name being Hogue.Their daughter, Susan married a man named Beasley, but this might not be his real name.He was born to unmarried parents, raised by his mother's family and took their name.Family lore has it they were from the Euharlee from around Rockmart, GA.This "found out" many years after the fact and I don't know how it was determined.Someone has said it had been documented at one time, but the papers were lost in a home fire.It's a wonderful we have any documents at all! If I find anything over time I will post it here.
