Hi Chandra

I really don't think that this is the same James Hogle as I have had no indication that he is Swedish. My James L.got married in Franklin Co,Vt in March of 1880 but pretty certain that he was from St. Armand Quebec. At least he was born there. My problem with completely discarding him is that in the 1900 census of Crawford, Ne, it said that he'd been in the US for 30 years, which would have been 1870. So, in other words, it could have been him, who knows? Let me do some more checking and will get back to you. These families went back and forth to Quebec more frequently than you would have thought for those times. Wish I could remember what he stated his origin was in the 1900 census. Think I'd have written it down, if it was different that I had thought. Good hearing from you.
Barbara
