Looking for any information on a Stephen Hogle who may have been with one of the loyalist regiments from North Carolina whose members received grants of land in Nova Scotia about 1785. He may have had a daughter Ann Hogle who married another loyalist, Benjamin Hinds/Hines.
Ann and Benjamin remained in the Country Harbor, Guysborough county area of NS and raised 8 children: Joseph, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Sarah, Christopher, John, Martha Ann and Lydia.
If her father was not Stephen, perhaps he shared the same first name as one of her sons.
Any clues to this family greatly appreciated.
