I'm still searching for information on the parents of William Hogg. I have no birth or death information on him. The only information I have been able to locate on him is a marriage record. According to the record, on November 1st, 1815 he married Catherine (sp?) Bryson at East Canon Gate Scotland.
They had a son named: William Hogg - Born February 2nd, 1826, died November 3rd, 1892. They also had Catherine B Hogg, Jean Hogg, and Ann Hogg.
I've been struggling with this one for years now, there seems to be no information at all.
The only other potential clue is from a US census report from 1860. On the report, the younger William Hogg states that his parents, William and Catherine (Bryson) Hogg were both born in Scotland and that their native language is "Gaelic L" Thank you in advance. --Chris Hogg
