Can anyone tell me what happend to Lewis Hogg Jr of Williamson Co, IL after 1850? He married the widow of David Robertson (also Robeson,Robison, Roberson) in 1842. Sarah Robertson etc is supposedly has the maiden name of Tinner, which I believe is Tyner/Tiner. I know her daughter Mary A Hogg married Wilburn Campbell. What is even more amazing is that WIlburn Campbell married her halfsister Minerva Jane Robertson Howell. (Nobody ever put that puzzle piece together before). What happened to the other two Robertson girls, Lucinda and Maring A (Marian?)? What happened to the little boy George W Hogg born 1849? There are some similarities to this family to the family of Lewis W Hogg and his wife Sarah in Johnson Co, IL, but from what I gathered this is a different Lewis Hogg born 4 years earlier and in NC not TN. Is the Mary Hogg that married James Davis and living next door to Lewis Hogg Jr in 1850 his sister? Is the Benjamin F Tiner living next door to Lewis in 1850 his brother-in-law? How are Calvin Hogg living with Mary Hogg Davis and Thomas Hogg living with Lewis in 1850, related to Lewis? I have never seen a definitive explaination of the Williamson Co, IL Hogg family before. Just bits and pieces. Is there an expert out there?
