Thank you, thank you for the information, I am pretty sure you have found for me where and when my Great Grandfather was born !
There is not much information about what happened to Lucanada, because she married against her father`s wishes. Apparently she died after only perhaps two or three years of marriage, with one baby dying with her in childbirth, after my Grandmother was born. The legend passed down to me, was that William Owen was a part Cherokee cowboy, with perhaps even some African ancestry. My mother had a bit of the Native look about her.
