The 1880 census for Denton Co. TX lists the family of Thomas Elisha Hogg as follows:

Hogg, Thomas E. age 37 head occ.: lawyer
Annie E. age 34 wife
Lucanda M. age 12 daughter
Hermilla M. age 10 daughter
Frank B. age 8 son
Ethel G. age 5 daughter
Annie M. age 3 dauthter

The 1900 census for Houston, Harris Co. TX lists the following:

Owen, W. H. H. age 41 b. Alabama,
father and mother b. Alabama,
occ.: railway mail clerk
Velma age 10 daughter
