O. C. or O.M. Hoge of Cambridge Ohio

I am seeking information to clarify a descrepancy found in two obituaries for Melford J. Brown who died on March 13, 1909 in Cadiz, Ohio. A survivor was names as Mr. O. C. Hoge in one obit and the other said O. M. Hoge. Strictly speculating, I think that it should be O. M. Hoge. I suspect that this is Osmond Milton Hoge of Cambridge Ohio who would have been Mr. Brown's nephew. I have a Dorcus I. Brown married to a Milton Hoge in Guernsey County Ohio. I am attempting to find the necessary connections to make all of this fit together. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Karen Harris
