I have been proud to be a Hogarty descendent. Have been working on the family history for a long time. I go back to John Hogarty who came to the US around early 1800's. I think they came from Laois Co. It would be great to talk with a Hogarty (not to many here)from the old sod. My mother was in Ireland some years ago and said everything they say about the green and people was true and then some. Hope to come someday.
