Hi Patricia.
It is very very nice to find your post on Geneology.com.
Sweetie, we have ALOT to talk about and pictures you need in your ancestry work. I have almost 95% of what you are looking for and a lot of contacts to immediate family you NEED TO HAVE. Up until I found your post, I just knew you as Patricia Lynn.
But before that, let me introduce myself. I am your cousin, Dennis Harris (just call me Jr though). My email is [email protected] so that we can talk more when you get this. I am Shirley Hogans son. :O)
I have extremely extensive photo albums of the family for several generations and have pictures of your dad, you, Patrick Hogan, Esther, Viola and Shirley Hogan. To understand why I have such large albums-- you have to realize when your grandma Goldie died, Omer loaded up all her stuff and albums took them down to Wellsville MO where my mom was living at the time and dumped it all out of a Uhaul truck told them to keep what they wanted and drove off.
While I have not scanned all of them in yet, I do have about 90+ pictures scanned so far. Just as a brief example here, I have several older pictures of your father (including an open-casket pic at his funeral which is higher quality). I have several pics of you growing up as a kid. I've got lots of pics of Patrick, Esther, Viola and Shirley growing up, the house they lived in in STL, the old Shanty house the originally lived in when Omer moved to STL originally by the river and lots lots more! I also have Omer's original Death Cert from the Hospital and his name is listed as Oman for some reason. (Goldie was already dead and his current wife- Ella Pasch thought his real name was Oman instead!) I am very sorry to say, Omer died in 1993, shortly after the family visited him and Ella at their home in St. Louis. I saw him in his final days and did not recognize him from the stories mom and dad told me of the early days.
