N.B. HOGAN
After almost a year's illness, Comrade N.B. HOGAN died at his home , in Springfield, Mo., April 26, 1906. He was born in Alabama 62 years ago, but for 20 years his home had been in Springfield, going there from Christian Co., to which section he moved shortly after the war. He was a Confederate soldier and had served the Campbell Camp at Springfield for 15 years as Adjutant and was last year its Commander. He leaves a wife, 3 sons, and a daughter. He was a good conversationalist and a newspaper writer . As a soldier, he was fearless and faithful, and remained loyal to the principles for which he had fought. Peace to his ashes!
