I was told by my great aunt my grandmother's sister that an English man named Motron married to Mary Willingham [SAID TO be half Indian} came with the trail of tears in 1835 to the Oklahoma territory. Motron was adopted in to the indian tribe. Motron died and later Mary Willingham married a man named Hogan. She had two sons by Motron, She changed the name of her sons to Hogan. One was Named Peter[ buried at Bethel Okla] was my great grand father. The other son Deleon was the line that Ben Hogan the golfer was suposed to came from. My grand mother was Rose hogan daughter of Peter Hogan She married Sam williams, because she had Indian blood Sam williams was disowned by his family. I don't know for sure how much indian blood Mary willingham had because people tried to hide it back there My Grandmother look More indian than white. If this rings a bell with any body let me know.
