John Hoffmann and Maria Hahn emigrated from Stuttgart Germany to Philadelphia in the late 1800s. I don't know anything about John Hoffmann (my great grandfather). Maria Hahn Hoffmann (my great grandmother) continued to speak German as an adult and lived into her 80s and died in a Lutheran Home in Philadelphia.
They had 2 daughters here: Lena (Pauline) Hoffman and Kate (Katherine) Hoffman.
Lena Hoffman (b 1896, d 1939) married Joseph F Dreyer. They had one son, John (b 1928).
Kate Hoffman (b d ?) married Stanley Zink. They had several children & numerous grandchildren in Philadelphia & surrounding areas. Kate Hoffman died in Daytona Beach FL around 1965 where she is buried.
We've lost contact with our Hoffmann, Hahn and Zink extended family over the years and would like to become reacquainted. Appreciate any follow-ups.
