Henry Hermann Hoffman b. 1797 in Donberg, Germany d. 1866 in New Orleans, LA. In 1820, he married Hannah Fredericka Steinbinder b. 1800 d. 1842 in Plaquemines Parish, LA. The immigrated to America in 1839 or thereabout.
They had 9 children: ALL born in Hoppen, Germany
Hannah Fredericka b. 1821 d. 1896 in New Orleans, LA
4 sons names unknown
Charles Henry b. 1829 d. 1902 in California
Christian Frederick b. 1832 d. ???
Hannah Carolyn (Carolyn Hannah) b. 1834 d. 1866 in N.O. LA
Hannah Sophie (Sophie Hannah) b. 1837 d. 1902 in California
