Please help!!!
I am trying to find out everything I can about my GGGG Grandfather Anthony Joseph Hoffmann. All I know about him is that he was born in 1773 probably in Germany. He was captured at Flushing fighting for Napolean in 1809 and brought to Britain as a French prisoner of war. I have tried everything I can think of to try and discover more about him but I seem to have hit a brick wall.
