Hi,
I have reason to believe that the 'Fred Hoffman' who died on Oct. 3, 1876, and was buried in the Monroe Street Cemetery in Cleveland two days later was not his real name - that was Frank Haffner or Hoefner (orig from Bohemia). The cause of death was listed as 'injury to spine by accident.'
His wife's name was Anna and I would be grateful for any further info. I am glad to share what I have already.
